When you participate in an event and activate tracking, we collect:

  • Precise GPS location: Latitude, longitude, altitude, and accuracy
  • Speed and heading: Your current speed and direction of movement
  • Timestamp: The time each location point was recorded
  • Battery level: Device battery information to help manage tracking efficiency

Important: Location tracking is only active when you explicitly start tracking for a specific event. You have full control over when tracking starts and stops. You can stop tracking at any time.

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use our Service, we automatically collect:

  • Device information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and version
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
  • IP address: Your IP address for security and analytics purposes

When you participate in an event with tracking enabled, the following information is publicly visible to anyone viewing the event:

  • Your tracking statistics (distance, speed, duration)
  • Your participant avatar (if uploaded)

Note: This information is only visible during active tracking sessions and for events you've chosen to participate in.

3.2 Event Organizers

Event organizers can see:

  • Your registration information (name, email, message to organizer)
  • Your tracking data for their events
  • Event participation statistics

3.3 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Service:

  • Hosting providers: For infrastructure and data storage
  • Payment processors: Stripe for payment processing (they have their own privacy policy)
  • Email services: For sending transactional emails
  • Analytics providers: For usage analytics (anonymized where possible)

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in compliance with this Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Access controls: Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
